Welcome to our new video series “Backstage Pass” where you can go behind the scenes with the world’s only rock & roll nutrition show, Jump with Jill.

In this episode, we file our exclusive field report from the 50-yard line of Ford Field in Detroit, MI for the Detroit Lions and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan Fuel Up to Play 60 Rally for School Health kickoff event. Hand selected student leaders learn ways to make their nutrition messages compelling so they can lead schoolwide wellness initiatives when they return to their campuses.

We began the morning with an orientation that rocked songs from the Jump with Jill show. Why talk at an event kickoff, when you can sing at an event kickoff? We made our grand entrance onto the field through the tunnel — the same tunnel the players use on game day. Then we joined actual Lions coaching staff on agility drills. Jill’s intensity has finally been matched.

This spring we produced “The Bone Rap” on DVD and distributed it to 2,500 Fuel Up to Play 60 schools. With all that practice, we danced on the 50-yard line while the music video played on the jumbotron overhead for the dairy famers sitting in the stands.

We are so popular in Michigan that we have an entire Jump with Jill cast based in Michigan. The Michigan cast joined us for the day’s celebration! Back by popular demand, this fall we will be completing a second statewide tour of Michigan. This time, schools entered to win the show! During the opening session at Ford Field, we surprised one of the winners attending the kickoff, Escanaba Upper Elementary!

This event is made possible thanks to the United Dairy Industry of Michigan funded by Michigan milk farmers and processors. We thank them for giving such a huge stage for Jump with Jill.
