In support of Commissioner Sid Miller’s Farm Fresh Fridays initiative, the rock & roll nutrition show Jump with Jill is rocking 20 schools across four Texas cities – San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Houston – followed by a taste testing of Texas-grown produce for selected classrooms thanks to produce partner H-E-B. The Farm Fresh Jump with Jill Live Tour is designed to draw attention to fresh grown produce. Turns out, eating healthy Texas produce is also good for a healthy Texas economy.

Mejier donated salad bars to a handful of Michigan schools included on the Jump with Jill Live Tour presented by Meijer to help schools offer fresh produce to their newly inspired students. Jump with Jill provided the static cling art to decorate those salad bars so students can identify their new favorite foods. This week, photos roll in from those lucky schools.
Jump with Jill headed to Atlanta, GA for the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo, better known as FNCE. FNCE is the annual meeting for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Over 8,000 nutrition professionals traveled to Atlanta to learn about the hottest topics and trends in the nutrition field.
We were challenged by the United Dairy Industry of Michigan to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research by dumping a bucket of ice on our respective heads!
